It (Bali) is truly one of the most beautiful countries (sic) in the world. Be prepared to bring back carvings, material, weaving, jewelry, etc. I even bought a completely carved chair and table, plus baskets, weaving, carvings, clothing, jewelry. Also experienced a four day cremation that was intriguing! Truly a tremendous experience in every way. some of the hotels with their river rock bathrooms, exquisite interiors were the most beautiful ever seen. And, the food was wonderful.

I fell in love with Bali. I'm not sure that it's real because the people were the most gentle and kind I have encountered in my 30 years of travel. Can't wait to get back.

Talk abut hospitality! The Balinese take the cake even though I'm used to southern hospitality. And the shopping is such fun. Aside from the outstanding wood carvings, they make the most beautiful and delicate jewelry. But the most important part were the people. They're great!

My wife and I stayed at the Royal Piti Maha. It was out of this world. We had our own pool and a bed big enough for a whole family. The inside was as beautiful as the outside. Their restaurant was first rate. Boy, were we pampered. They waited on us like royalty, and always with a smile and a charming bow. We'll do it again soon!

Dear Robin and Howard,

After an unpleasant cruise experience 15 years ago, I vowed never to do such a thing again. Therefore, it was with some trepidation that I embarked on this voyage. Thank goodness I did. You two, as cruise directors, have taken wonderful care of Helen and me. On shore, and on shipboard you have looked after us like conscientious parents. We both feel safe and happy with you and look forward to going Over the Moon again in the future.

But thank you, thank you via email for all the hard work, thoughtful planning, seat of the pants extemporaneous problem solving and good humor you both put into the cruise to make it such fun and such a great learning experience.
